and, that’s me! … (an intuitive artist, an intuitive transformation mentor, the founder of Soul HeART’s Embrace (aka SHE), a Holy Fire Reiki Master energy healer, a motivational speaker, and an educator of 31 years. )
And I’m here because I love to create…..
No surprise there!
But the real mission behind my creative pursuits,
the thing that fuels my spark and keeps me jumping out of bed every morning, is my desire to embrace the hearts of women…
Through SHE, my aim is to use creativity to help women to
reconnect with their innermost truths so that they may experience
more happiness, empowerment, and authenticity in their lives. YOU, and all the other beautiful sisters that inhabit this beautiful sacred planet.
And that’s why I founded Soul HeART’s Embrace.
Basically, I want women to love themselves, fully and completely.
And I believe one of the best ways to initiate this connection to self
is through the creative process. Once we make this connection,
we begin to heal and rediscover our wholeness.
Art and creativity actually act as medicine for our soul.
How do I know this?
Because a number of years ago my world, as I knew it, came crashing down around me.
And I crashed with it…
and I mean, CRASHED…
like an “I don’t know how to keep living” kind of crash.
My work environment crumbled, my mother was struggling with Parkinson’s Disease,
my husband began to drown in maladaptive coping strategies,
my teenaged daughters each lived through severely traumatic experiences,
and I became severely ill with several medical conditions.
I literally did not know how I was going to carry on.
Eventually, I realized I needed to return to my creative practice
that had somehow completely disappeared from my life.
And it was through this daily intuitive creativity practice
that I could express my emotions, and learn to sit with them
and create flow and movement on the canvas which, in turn,
miraculously began to infuse flow and movement into my life as a whole.
And with flow and movement,
healing occurred at a deep and profound level.
You see, we are intuitively creative beings, by design.
And as women, we are designed as creators, the birth-giving mothers of life
(whether or not we choose to or are unable to actually give life.)
So, clearly, it follows that we need to engage in creativity
to remain and engage in the flow of life,
and to actively connect to ourselves and all living things.
And so,
I believe it follows that
if women learn to embrace themselves
by living an intuitively creative life,
then human relationships, in general,
will improve and life on Planet Earth
will undergo a seriously KICKASS transformation.
Can you imagine a world where each and every one of us is unabashedly dancing to the soul of our creative spirit?!
I get goosebumps just thinking about it
and all the love that would flow freely from it!
